Weber mandolins are hand-crafted in Montana of solid spruce, mahogany and maple, not wood laminates. Each instrument is built by hand by skilled luthiers who pay attention to detail. The owner of the company, Bruce Weber, maximizes the tone of each instrument by personally graduating the tops and backs of each one. He also does the final quality check by playing the instrument himself, and if it passes muster he signs it and sends it on to its owner.
Weber mandolins are revolutionizing the mandolin world with the unique Brekke Bridge. The Brekke Bridge allows easier string tension adjustment and creates a better sound from all the strings. Other innovations include one-piece cast tailpieces and modified X-bracing patterns. All of these innovations improve the quality and playability of Weber mandolins.
